Rachel House Contributions

Rachel House is an independent, non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization. Donations made to Rachel House are deductible as charitable donations for federal income tax purposes.

Cash Contributions ·         Online, electronic donation. If you’d like to make a secure online donation, click here. ·        Mail a donation. Make your check payable to Rachel House, mail it to 320 NE Tudor Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64086. Put in the memo “donation”. ·         Donate by phone. Have your credit card available, and call Rachel House Administrative Office at 816.875.1059.

Stocks & Mutual Funds

We can also accept appreciated securities, stocks or mutual funds. This method of donation has significant tax benefits for you. Not only can you avoid capital gains tax, but also you are able to deduct the full fair market value of the security at the time of the donation. Please call Rachel House Executive Director, Kathy Edwards, to manage the logistics of liquidation at 816.875.1059.

Other Non-Cash Items
Did you know Americans spend $22 billion each year storing things? Some of this “stuff” can be used to bring the gift of Christ’s compassion to others. It can help give life to a baby or eternal life to a pregnant teen.

Tax Credits
Missouri tax credits are back! If you make a qualifying donation to Rachel House, you can take advantage of the 50% tax credits we have available. The credits are issued on a first come, first served basis for eligible monetary gifts from January 1, 2013, and after.
