There are lots of ways to get involved in God’s work at Rachel House. Rachel House could not exist without the calling, passion and commitment of many volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering at Rachel House be sure to attend one of our volunteer orientations held the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 to 11:30am at our Paseo Center.

Client Advocate Rachel House Client Advocates receive in-depth, one-on-one training. Shifts are generally 4 to 6 hours one day a week. It is important that a client advocate has a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, is an active member of a local church body, has a passion to see the lost come to know Christ and a love for the unborn and their mothers.   Receptionist/Clerical Help Rachel House has a lot of things going on! Receptionists, clerical workers, people who enjoy computer data-entry and those with organization skills are often needed.

Behind the Scenes With three pregnancy centers, those who are willing to clean and do miscellaneous jobs are needed and appreciated. Additional volunteers are always needed to assist in organizing and helping out with fundraising events.

Other Volunteer Opportunities: Church Liaison It is our goal to have a church liaison at each local church. Church liaisons are members in good standing with their church and know how the business of the church is done. They facilitate a good relationship between the Lord’s work of Rachel House and the church family. This volunteer assists with the baby bottle campaign, communicates details of upcoming Rachel House events, needs, etc.

Special Events Special events can be a good source of income for Rachel House. If you have an idea for an event, or would like to coordinate something to benefit Rachel House, please contact the Administrative Office in Lee’s Summit.

Baby Bottle Fundraiser

  PPPPPPerhaps you’d like to coordinate a baby bottle fundraiser for your civic group, workplace or church. We provide baby bottles for the group members to take home, fill with spare change, dollars or checks. After the determined time period, we will collect the bottles. It’s as easy as that! If you’re interested, please call the Administrative Office in Lee’s Summit.

Prayer Team
PPPP Prayer is foundational to the work of Rachel House. As our strategy to reach more women at risk for abortion increases our ministry opportunities, prayer is more and more vital to our daily work.
